Mossawa Center's "Watch List": Items to monitor in the Israeli government and society in the coming two years

The Mossawa Center, the Advocacy Center for Arab Citizens in Israel, releases a “Watch List”’ of indicators for monitoring developments vis-à-vis Palestinian Arab citizens in Israel. This general release comes in advance of Israel’s new Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s first meeting with U.S. President Barak Obama since his coming to office, slated for May 18.

Mossawa Center Racism Report 2009 released Saturday March 21

On the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination the Mossawa Center releases its Racism Report 2009. The report comprehensively documents 271 racist incidents that occurred inside Israel over the past year. The report was launched during the Center’s Anti-Racism Conference held in the northern city of Acre.

The Mossawa Center USA Advocacy Tour - April 19th-28th, 2009

In light of the new realities following the US and Israel elections, Mossawa has undertaken a highly successful advocacy tour in the United States. The tour raised awareness about Palestinian Arab citizens of Israel, their status, and their role in promoting human rights and peace in the region. Mossawa's delegation included Jafar Farah, Mossawa's director, and two board members.
